News - Joy Van Cooten is new AWS Chair

Joy Van Cooten, who became a member of the London Group of the Association of Women Solicitors (AWS) in 2005, has become the new national Chair.

Joy was Vice-Chair of the London Group in 2007 and Chair the following year before joining the national committee in 2008. She became the national Vice-Chair in March 2010.

In 2005 Joy co-founded VanCooten Trevors Recruitment. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives since 1997.
